WARFARE & RIOTS featuring 30 Seconds To Mars & Placebo

To celebrate 125 years of the automobile Mercedes Benz sponsored an open air concert in Stuttgart, Germany, yesterday with modern rock giants 30 Seconds To Mars and Placebo performing. With ticket prices of only 15€(about 20$) I couldn't resist and so I waited 1,5 hours earlier in line to get a good spot in front of the stage before ultimately being joined by a crowd of 35 000 people.

THE BLUEPRINT

Being on top of the Empire State Building was something I'll never forget and I hope I get to live in this great city someday even if it'd be just for a few years. Here are some of the shots I took. You'll get to see more of New York City but I want to dedicate this post solely to the moment I felt like a tiny, unimportant bug and the king of the universe at the same time. The title of course is a homage to (aka I stole it from) the King of New York Jay-Z.

FIRST THINGS FIRST and a CIGARETTE BREAK

After what feels like a million years to me I finally get to share my first blog post with you (and I hope I'm not just talking to my multiple personalities). I'm mainly gonna show you my photographs on here but every now and then there will be other things as well. Maybe if I grow some balls I'm gonna show you some of my drawings or paintings but there'll definitely be music in some form on here as it's a big part of my life. Artists I like will be featured too as well as everything else I draw inspiration from and think is worth sharing. At least that's the plan so far but I'm just gonna play by ear and see where it takes me.

The first batch of pictures is a test shoot I did the day before yesterday. Those self portraits show me experimenting with cigarette smoke. I'm a social smoker. I in no way want to promote smoking, but it's everybody's free choice.
Comments and any form of feedback are much appreciated.
